Max traded to Golden Knights

the complexity of taxes makes it tough

especially because it changes with the amounts you make, the loop holes you find, etc

throw in cost of living and such

i assume the NBA does not have this?

i would solve the issue with a luxury tax

it is easy to fix, assume the cap is based on 35% state and federal tax, anything above is added to the cap

it is going around twitter that he would have to make 9.87 with us to net out the same, find that hard to believe but whatever

The Canadian based owners need to stop taking it up the ass from the parasitical organizations. Either we get cap relief due to taxation differences or no more welfare to the parasites.

That's nonsense. Paying more taxes = socialism = makes you happy knowing you are helping everyone out

Not surprised at all that he signed GW

Term is not a friend for vets over 30 hitting UFA these days ...optics have changed

Injured last year so why take a risk

Maybe his wife saw the highlites of Max on TSN last night when the stanchion nearly took his head off and said sign a deal

32 mil over the next 5 years is ok $

I'm surprised he preferred 4x7 over 6x6.

No doubt spread by the Canadiens to make Max look bad.

If he thought he could get 36 million guaranteed, he would have squeezed the Golden Showers more.

However, if you recall, California is a high tax state so he might not net that much more there than the 28 million on the strip. Housing is also way more costly in Los Angeles than Las Vegas.

Dunno, it comes from Francois Gagnon.

Can't see why anyone would complain about this trade.

Suzuki is a terrific prospect.

We basically got a 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder and at least another future 2nd rounder (when we trade Tartar)

The agents and players seem to have no issue figuring out how to get the most bang for their buck!

It is probably a result of the years of abuse by toxic Bicep man. He brings is a box of chocolatesand we are supposed to forget the abuse and put out
