Apparently Babcock's already announced that the starter tonight is Andersen.

So, he's sticking with his model of the backup goalie always playing on the second night of a back-to-back.
 
Boston hasn't been playing all that great. They got shelled for 8 goals by the Canucks.

Still, I think I'd go with Sparky tonight rather than tomorrow night. I think we need Andersen in net for the Bruins.
 
I always like that actually. trying to pick the weaker team is always asking for it.
 
I think his approach is due to the overall likelihood to win the first game, so cement it by playing your starter.

Is there an all-time stat somewhere for teams playing back-to-back? I wonder how bad it actually is?

That is correct. Sister in law. But wasn't aware he married her after. I thought he stayed with the wife.
