OT: Tennis anyone?

He moved into the second seed and then dropped out. What a shame.

Who will be the grumpy one now though?

Maybe it is just anxiety as the pressure is growing on the Grump the closer he gets to Wimbledon. He has no excuse not to win there this year.

According to posters here, he is better than Nadal and will be at home. As long as Grump doesn't win Wimbledon, all will be good.

Nobody is better than Nadal at the French Open. I wonder if anyone will keep count how many times Nadal yanks his wedgie out of his ass during the tourny. I would not shake that guy's hand after a match.

One could argue Nadal is the best ever player. I still think Federer is but Nadal owns his ass too.

Sure, but the 50th best player in the world TODAY would kick Borg's ass too. Just like any AHLer today would be better than Gordie Howe in his prime.

Take Borg's talent, give him modern technology, modern training and coaching, and modern nutrition.... then have him face Nadal and you've got a match.

I wasn't even comparing eras, I see Nadal as more intense, tougher, meaner and mentally stable.

Yes but even a few years ago when he was in his prime, he still lost to Nadal.

He's still top 3 which as you claim for an old guy is pretty amazing.

Would be nice to see him go out with a win in London against the Grump in the final from two sets down to rip the heart completely out of the Grump and all of the UK.

Depends what you mean by prime. Some people consider the prime for a male tennis player to be 23-26. In Feds case that was nearly 10 years ago.

To clarify Fed was really dominant between 2003-2007. Fed was 22 in 2003 while Nadal was only 17.

You would be very conflicted in that instance Xpire. Your two biggest enemies on the board have different views of the Grump. I hate him but Krust loves him and worships him like you worship Puongo. You either make me angry or him happy. Lose lose for you.
