He has the reputation of being an extremely old school guy that bunts a lot, like Yost.
That said, with Trout, Upton, Ohtani, Calhoun and Simmons, even he might be able to figure this thing out.
The key for them is their other arms besides Ohtani, if they are good they are on the elite tier level, if they are okay, they are on the Jays/Twins level.
