Around the League 2018-2019 Edition

Ducks are a big mess. Most of their forwards are old, slow, hurt and expensive. They don't have the timing right as the D is very good and young.
Randy will be fired soon though., He sucks too.

That is funny, isn't it? Lindholm, Manson, Montour & Fowler are all supposedly studs, but the team can't defend or possess the puck worth shit. Part of it's the Randy effect, but not all.
 
Manson in particular would get bashed as **** in Toronto. He plays a very aggressive game which often results in glaring mistakes.

He's solid enough and would actually fit well in a Babcock system, but man he'd get roasted here.
 
Lindholm is legit, but limited. Manson is a nice physical presence but he's looking more and more flawed as the years go by.

Montour is the biggest joke overrating of all of them - he has a half decent butter soft usage 23yr old season and people are calling him a stud. amazing how dmen get treated on other teams.

Yeah. Shannon is one of many waves of irrelevance smashing against the lighthouse Leafs. Rielly is a legit stud who was hampered by a cluster**** of an org for the first few years of his career. He'll be fine, and meanwhile Shannon will still be working for Sportsnet.
