Given his salary and the fact he's playing D, makes him FAR more valuable than Drouin right now. Especially next year when JD is making 5.5M and Sergachev will be making 894k

Without Drouin who would the Habs 1st line be exactly, let alone having a proven scoring threat on a 2nd line? Add to it Sergachev wouldn't be providing the same offensive output on this Habs team.

That's fine and dandy, as a trade chip, Sergachev is younger, makes 1/5 the salary, and is arguably playing better. JD is still good though.
 
Get Drouin some linemates and he’ll flourish.

Galcheyuk has been a mess all year except for maybe a five game stretch...another tough night for him once again
 
It really helps that EK has been a no-show in the past 2 games vs MTL.
