I see this one as a big, big test for Jonathan Bernier. His numbers show it, but this is one of those big game showdowns with another elite goalie that could really start to cement his reputation.

And it would be a sweet time for the 2nd line to have a big game.

Leafs could win their 4th in a row tonight - something they have yet to accomplish this season. A win here would not only get us to within 4pts of the Habs in the standings, but would lift us out of the mess of bubble teams and likely have us back in 5th spot in the East. Would really help to turn around the negative narrative going on around the team lately - you wouldn't know that the Leafs have been winning at a 101pt clip over the last 13gms, or are on a 3gm win streak, by the stories the media and bloggers are telling lately.

Anyways, big game.

wonder if Subban will try and pick a fight again with Orr

Of course not, last time he came at Orr from behind (didn't have the cahones to face him like a man) when Orr showed his teeth thats when Parros jumped in leading to that unfortunate knock out. PK will go after the smaller players but he won't go after Orr espically not with his body guard out of the lineup, although I'd love to see Orr finally shut PK up though, the same way Kosta shut up that puke Gallagher by feeding him lefts and rights after he shoved Dion on top of Reimer.

I see this one as a big, big test for Jonathan Bernier. His numbers show it, but this is one of those big game showdowns with another elite goalie that could really start to cement his reputation.

With a strong enough performance...could tonight be the night he finally starts to win you over?

Carey eats what he kills. Bernier probably shops at Pusateri.

Let the hate flow through you.

If we win tonight it'd be 4 in a row. OTOH if we lose we'll probably run out of runway to catch the habs.

Just win. For 1 night if bernier can beat price it goes a long way in establishing his reputation in this league.
