Les Habitants Prospects Thread

So basically Färjestads wanted the Habs to pay insurance for the games he would play but the Habs just said to forget it because it would be too much paperwork for only 6 games.

Also, Nygren received late notice (either because of the agent or the Habs) that everything was cancelled, and finally he is not mad at FBK.

It apparently goes beyond that. Nygren has some health issues, hence the insurance wrangling:

On the #Habs Magnus Nygren insurance issue, should be noted there are reports he wasn't 100% healthy. May have further complicated situation

Of course he does, he's married.

Welcome to the club.

Since I need to keep the wife happy, I offered to buy two tickets to Oprah tonight at the Bell Centre, hoping she'd go with one of her friends. No takers, so I'm stuck attending with her.

I'm going to vomit in my mouth repeatedly, especially when Oprah starts pontificating in her loud, manly voice. And yes, I'll probably get laid for this, so I'll take the bitter pill.

Where is Bill Burr, when you need him. :eek(16):

You're a good husband.,, or completely nuts. I'm trying to figure out which one.

SEL agreements can be bought out by teams via the Transfer agreement. Its only KHL contracts that are really concerning.

Looks like Mac Bennett will be going to Michigan for his Senior season.

Makes sense.... with Dietz and Thrower in (and maybe Nygren) there isn't much room on the bulldogs D core next year.

Yup.

I'd actually tell Thrower to go back to Junior for another season. I know it'll be his overage season, but whatever. It hasn't been a great year for him.

Next's years speculated Dogs D is worth the price of admission, even without knowing if anyone will graduate with the Habs.

Dietz, Nygren, Tinordi, Beaulieu, Pateryn, Thrower, Ellis. Imagine the PT headaches these guys will cause if/when they all develop to their full potential.

If Beaulieu does well for the rest of the season + playoffs, I'm not sure he'll be headed back to Hamilton--- And if he does, it won't be for long.

Regardless of how well he does with his current opportunity, he will have to earn his spot on the roster next year and it won't be easy.

The knock on Bennett has always been his size. Like many of us, he needs to use his time in university to work out and bulk up. FWIW, I always expected that guy to be a long-term project.

Surplus of rookies. Can't develop them all. I think some of these guys are expendable and will be moved by next season. I'd really like Hamilton to sign a few marquee free agents so we can actually make the damn post season.
