I think they plan on seeing how the faceoffs go and if it is really a problem they'll go out and get someone if they're in the fight.
What do you think happens with Poehling this season ?

Emergency call up. I'm thinking he makes the team next year and if not be gets traded.

I don't think Poehling makes the team, and that's alright with me. Poehling was well on track to make the team out of training camp, but that concussion he suffered set him back.
I'll start to worry about him if he isn't part of the last wave of cuts. If he's an early cut so that he can be in Hamilton (or whever ever the AHL team is going to play) for their training camp, then it's time to worry.

With Allen as backup I expect Price’s sv% will be much closer to, or above .920 vs .909 simply due to rest, which would translate to upwards of 10-points in the standings, add on Allen’s likely performance vs Kinkaid et al of recent past backups glory..
