2024-25 Canes Miscellaneous Thread

Since the ECHL affiliation is hardly crucial, if it goes well and Dundon can establish a relationship with Zawyer then maybe common sense can prevail and the Canes can eventually go back to an affiliation with the Checkers. Or not. I care way less than 90% of Canes fan do about that.

If you ever had kids a Night Monster is one of those that wont fall asleep, might be sick and keeps their parents up half the night depriving them of much needed sleep...one came to visit me last week...
 
They’re also the ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights, hence the intentional misspelling of Night. They leaned into the big club’s name, as did the AHL affiliate, Henderson Silver Knights.
 
But at least Silver Knights could have been an actual thing back in the day of the lute being the main instrument in a musical group.
 
If you were hoping to hear John Forslund call the Canes games on TBS, you’re going to be disappointed. He’ll be in Florida. We’re getting Alex Faust with Brian Boucher and Jody Shelley on Thursday and Kenny Albert with Boucher and Shelley on Saturday. At least we won’t have to listen to Eddie Olczyk talk about how Francis built the Canes, he’s with Forslund.

Thankfully I won’t have to listen to Kenny Albert. That guy can suck the life out of any sporting event.

Awesome but how do I listen to that from in the building? :D

Side question, do they even still have that inhouse frequency with the real-time radio call from 99.9? I quit listening to it right around the time Chuck, and then Johnny) exited... coincidentally of course :D
