Adam Fox is returning to Harvard for his senior year. He’s almost definitely going the Jimmy Vesey route.

David Cotton is staying at BC for his senior year. That means he can go the Jimmy Vesey route next year if he wants to.

Re: Ron Francis Has A New (Non-Hockey) Gig

Looks like Ronnie has another, albeit temporary, hockey gig. Dreger tweeted that it looks like the 3 headed monster of Francis, Ron Hextall and Jason Botterill are the management team for Team Canada...

The Canes open a home and home in DC.

After scuffling around for most of the game on Sunday, the Canes rescued 2 points in OT over the Habs. They’re 3 points up on them, 5 up on Columbus, 4...

Kucherov needs 2 goals for 40. Stamkos has 41, Point has 40. How long since a team has had 3 - 40 goal scorers?
  10. Re: The Official Hurricanes Futility Thread and Playoff Position Tracker

I’d rather that feeling than playing out the string, every day of the week and twice on Sunday (unless it’s yesterday’s game, then once is enough).

    Re: GDT: Canes v. Habs 3/24 7:00

Couldn’t agree more. When Staal was out, it was a necessity. It isn’t anymore and as you said, RBA has 2 other defensively responsible lines to choose from that won’t kill the team offensively.

That 3rd period was a good old fashioned curb stomping. That allowed the staff to manage the minutes. Aho only played 17:35 and only 4:40 in the 3rd. Had we not had a PP in the 3rd, on which he...

Boudreau committed to Dubnykin goal last night. Everyone for the Canes was at the morning skate, so I’m assuming all is well. As RBA told Sara Civian, everyone is a game time decision.
