"At the start I told him, 'You're in trouble. You're going to play in the NHL and you don't have a choice,'" he said. "I'm not giving him any chances. He's a good young player. I like him, but he's better off listening to me and he knows it."

Yep, just funny that we have so many RHD and barely any LHD.

Ironically, when MB was hired on the entire focus was drafting RD because we had none in the system - Thrower, Ellis, and of course Lernout

It's funny cause Leaf fans are always talking about how difficult it is to acquire a good RHD.

Suzuki had 1G, 1A (scored the OT winner) and was named first star in his debut with the Storm last night.

Is he playing with better line mates?

He is playing with a solid goal scorer in Rattcliffe and a good player in Entwhistle

I guess he wasn't impressed by Romanov at the junior world championship like the rest of the league.

While impressive, it's gonna take more than that.

Brook would still be ranked higher than Romanov and he didn't make it either.

Hard to get a read on Romanov. His WJC was encouraging though.

Is Primeau good enough for the NHL though. He had a decent WJC but I'm just not sold on him. Another Lindgren I fear, the more he plays the more he gets fatigued. He may just be a career backup.
