OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Whether Durant will play next game or not... Doesn't matter. If anything this should add more motivation for the raptors to win tonight. No one wants to be tied 2-2 with Durant potentially returning for game 5. Bury them.

Easy win.

This series hasn't been all that close so far. Aside from one crazy run, the raps have been playing with pretty comfortable leads pretty much all series. People are still sleeping on how good this raps team is.

Gotta' defend the PnR better with Curry and stay high on it and we will be fine. The Warriors will come out with the same urgency they did in Game 2 so we will have to play our best game of the series to win tonight.

TLDW:

The game was poorly called, but almost evenly (7 missed/bad calls favouring GS, 6 for the Raptors). When you look at the point swing those plays caused though, most of the calls favouring the Raptors either 1) weren't going in the basket *one of the Ibaka missed goaltends* or 2) were called fouls on the court and not in the act of shooting. There wasn't points scored as part of the play to nearly the same degree as the missed Warriors calls, which were either deemed shooting fouls (Boogie's flop on the 3 point attempt, leading to two made FT's), the 2 Curry 3's made after a travelling/carrying violation, the bad charge call against Kawhi (that negated what would have been a 3 point play), the bad blocking call on Serge (on a clean block of a dunk attempt, putting McKinnie on the line).

So while the bad calls were pretty even, the Warriors saw a ~10 point benefit from them overall.

This game wasn't close and should have been a laugher. A 14 point win that got to 7 a bunch of times should have been a 25 point win that never got closer than double digits.

Perk is literally the only guy that has been talking sense all playoffs, and not resorting to "golden state mystique" stuff.

They've won 10 of 12 quarters.

Have the warriors ever admitted that they might not be the best team in the series before?

Has there ever been a need to?

They've pretty obviously been the clear-cut favourite in each of their previous four finals appearances, even the year when Lebron went legend to get his hometown championship.

He has yet to practice with the team. He's yet to do any practicing aside from light drills and shooting. He's done for the year.

Game 6, if neccy, is 6 days away. Plenty of time to get a team practice in.

When were they clear cut favorites without him?
