Tough but deserved win. We seem to have the upper hand for most of the game. Almost got denied from the solid goaltending from the GR. We got a bit lucky on the goal.

two solid points. Tokarski was very good too. Probably highly motivated knowing he was facing one of the all time greats.

Thank you st patrick...... You who took briere and gave us a shootout specialist....
As bergy says... You need players to get you there...
And you need playoff players...
PAP is one of the ones that get you there

Good: Tokarski, PA in shootouts
Bad: Sitting back in the 3rd, d-zone breakdown
Ugly: Officiating again pretty bad.

That's four shootout winners for Parenteau. At least he's worth something in that regard.

Tokarski was really good tonight. Big props.

Now, I'm not a big Malhotra fan and he's pretty much useless besides faceoffs/penalty killing, but we only won 44% tonight against a middle of the pack team.

He does serve his purpose.

Another pathetic failure on Therrien's part. They could have put the game away in the third but instead tried to sit on a one goal lead for 20 minutes and inevitably got burned. No offence generated at all in the third. That's Therrien trying not to lose instead of trying to win. But tonight he got away with it so it will be forgotten.

They played yesterday...got to their hotels in middle of the night

For those Toronto haters out there, be happy with the shootout win... the Panthers are now only two points behind the Leafs with three games in hand.

I like what did the fourth line did however...they had some shifts where they were buzzing around and had the Panthers hemmed in.

Winning faceoffs is great but doesnt serve much purpose if the line cant have some good shifts

You noticed that too eh? He needs to be in the lineup.
