You, the other new owners, and anyone who wants to drop their current team and enter the dispersal draft will take part in the draft will all eligble players.

The amount of owners in the draft will also represent the amount of teams with players able to be chosen.
 
Yeah, right now we need 3 replacement managers (1 confirmed, and Habsy you would be # 2), and will hold a dispersal draft for their rosters. We also offered to let any current managers enter their teams into this process, if they wish to do so.

So let's say there are those 3 replacement teams, and 3 others join the process. So we would hold a dispersal draft with those 6 managers choosing any players they want (1 at a time in a snake-draft) from the full roster list of those 6 teams.

Good question. We will need to compile a full list of all the players, I'll try to do it when I get some time. The departing managers had good teams so there will be lots of good players available.

By the way, it's a 19-team league with prizes for the top 5:

Okay, so we've got Kellen as a new manager and Habsy is in as well. Just need one more.

Though we haven't heard from Timmy or Bull recently as well.

Does anyone have any ideas on that final manager spot? Surely between Leafs and Habs boards there's got to be someone. I suppose at some point soon we could consider contracting one more team. But hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Let's also get those remaining entry fees and protected lists in asap.

I think we need to insist that every team is paid before any roster moves are made, that includes trades and drafting. NO EXCEPTIONS.
 
Since it looks like we will end up with some contraction can I suggest something (I'm going to anyway).

Dispersal draft for teams that have decided to do so and then any teams being contracted go to a league wide draft.

It may end up being a draft heavy summer but could set us up for a competitive league moving forward.
