Welcome Cameron Hillis

I like this pick. PPG centre in the OHL that just turned 18 and in the third round.

I expect him to light it up next year playing with Ratcliffe (Flyers pick from last year) and Merkley.

Not sure it is still a thing but I expect him to be 1.2 PPG.

"Someone is going to strike gold when they draft Cameron Hillis in the second round"

"The skilled forward improved immensely as his season progressed, helping him to become one of the best players for the Guelph Storm. He’s likely to be drafted in the second round of the 2018 NHL Entry draft, but Hillis is a player that could open a lot of eyes going forward."

OHL
Beyond the raw totals, his primary assist rate trailed only consensus number two pick Andrei Svechnikov and Allen McShane of the Oshawa Generals

I still believe though we lost our strongest 1.2 advocates in Kerr and HL.
