I stopped watching mid second period. The writing was on the wall. They were gassed. How they can lose to a terrible team like Anaheim is just mind boggling except for the fact they seem to psych themselves out on the west coast.

Another thing that is blatantly apparent is that the Habs cannot withstand any top 6 forward out of the lineup. Just missing Tatar to the flu screwed up the entire lineup. There is no depth to this team. For the first time I am concerned about a 9th place finish. That would be in true Habs fashion.

The silver lining here is that they are off until Tuesday and the Habs typically play well after having 3-4 days rest.

Lots of players are having difficulty adjusting to the increased intensity of games - what concerns me most is the team doesn’t seem ready to play at opening puck drop as has been the case for over 2-weeks now.

Drouin’s stat line for the trip: Zero goals, zero assists, four shots on goal and a minus-3 (for context)

Naw, they were ready in LA and SJ.

Then he should have taken him out and put KK back in against a big SJ team . . . but he didn't.

Dont know what to think of that game, for sure with good goaltending we would have had at least one point. But both goals we scored were fluky. The Sharks displayed some skill in their goals, even if Niemi was shaky and their chances were few. The team is not playing well enough consistently.

Kulak sitting was another odd move. Sure, he’s not great but he’s at the worst been our 5th best D this year. Benn on the other hand lol...

I did not like Julien's moves this week-end.. If Price played San Jose we might of won, then again the way he played last night...the only hope is that the guys are so embarrassed and have a gut check.. last's night game defines the season imo, they go on a tear or the fade out of the race....
