Have to ask why? This gives Habs 16-forwards with Lekhonen & Armia. Don’t get his deal - does this mean Lekhonen or Armia:
A) will not be signed? Highly unlikely - loss of free asset
B) packaged in a deal for a top-6? Byron?

I think he’s done, unless there’s a deal to package a few players and prospects for a stud. Meantime he likes to have 15 forwards in camp to compete for a spot so since he traded Shaw and came up empty he figured he should replace him for cheap.

Well we have to see if he’s ready to go...honestly I would prefer seeing him get heavy minutes in Laval at least for half a year if his camp is mediocre
But yeah he could also be ready, camp will determine that but no one knows for sure yet
