Leafs don’t have a Carey Price, but they still have a pretty decent goalie...we just happen to have enough speed throughout the lineup to skate with them, and in playoffs a lucky bounce here and there can elimta top team.

It’s been years now that experts say Tampa should have won the Cup.....how long did it take a truly complete team like Caps to win the Cup ?

I don’t buy the goalie excuse....because i could just as well say that if we had a reliable 4th line the Leafs don’t score most of their goals

Great game. Tons of energy in the building.

A lot of drunk 905'ers made the trip.

Nice to see both these teams decent at the same time. Creates a new story-line.

there was that one game like 10-15 years ago - last game of the regular season - winner went to the playoffs

^ If I remember correctly, we lost 6-5 to get eliminated and I got absolutely shitfaced afterwards.

Then something happened Sunday and the Leafs got eliminated too.

Habs were down big in that game but Andrew Raycroft made a game of it.

Are you sure it was the Leafs vs Habs at the Bell center and not the Marlies vs Rocket in laval?

no, it was loser misses, we were up 5-3 then gave it up 6-5. Leafs lost the next day to miss the post season

Was 3-1 for them, then 5-3 for us, then we took a high sticking penalty, some Leaf nobody with hemophilia bled, so they scored 2x on the power play. Then our goalie gave up a shit sixth goal and boom, we were out.

I remember my son and wife walking from another part of the house and seeing me with my head in my hands. She said, your dad is sad, he said "why are you sad Daddy"

Yup. They lost to the Islanders the next day and were eliminated too. I remember it well because I was so pissed off.

I watched the whole game with no audio. It was too nerve racking enough , didnt need to hear leaf blow hard commentators throughout the game. Didnt the Newfie guy score 2 or 3 goals for us but it wasn't enough...
