Game 80 - Tampa Bay Lightning @ Montreal Canadiens - TUE APR 2ND 7:30 EST

yep too bad, last two games were a hugh effort by this team, but the tiebreakers and remaining schedules might do us in.

Missing the playoffs against the Leafs on national TV does not sound very entertaining to me

I think (but could be wrong, it would come down to goal differential then. I think we split the series against them and they still have the tie breaker

Since they didn’t play the same # of games at home, it’s total number of points gained after removing 1st game for the team with the extra home game:

-game 1 in Mtl: Canes win in regulation (game eliminated per tiebreaker rules)

- game 2 in Mtl: Habs win in regulation (2-pts Habs)

-game 3 in Car: Canes win in OT (2-pts Canes, 1-pt Habs)

Habs win tiebreaker 3-pts to 2
