Great effort. Tatar was a madman. Price made some huge saves.
But still 9th...

Seriously, the leafs ****ing suck. Such a ****ing failure of a franchise. Can’t win a game when it counts.

Why would it count to the Leafs? They’re set in their spot.
Because it counts for us.

CAR: Devils (THU), Flyers (SAT)
CBJ: Rangers (FRI), Senators (SAT)
MTL: Washington (THU), Toronto (SAT)
Why would they care?
Unless Habs make up that 1-ROW on Canes - then Habs end up with tiebreakeryep too bad, last two games were a hugh effort by this team, but the tiebreakers and remaining schedules might do us in.

Missing the playoffs against the Leafs on national TV does not sound very entertaining to me

The game vs the Caps worries me.
Not the game Saturday.
Since they didn’t play the same # of games at home, it’s total number of points gained after removing 1st game for the team with the extra home game:I think (but could be wrong, it would come down to goal differential then. I think we split the series against them and they still have the tie breaker
Since they didn’t play the same # of game at home, it’s total number of points gained after removing 1st game for the team with the extra home game:
-game 1 in Mtl: Canes win in regulation (game eliminated)
- game 2 in Mtl: Habs win in regulation (2-pts Habs)
-game 3 in Car: Canes win in OT (2-pts Canes, 1-pt Habs)
Habs win tiebreaker 3-pts to 2
