The Dybala transfer fell apart apparently not due to personal terms but due to third parties with image rights not getting sorted. That will be problematic for him going forward.

This is why selling your image rights or other personal rights to a 3rd party is super dumb. That marketing firm that basically owns his likeness wants Dybala in Italy or Spain. Period. He can't go home to South America, can't go to England, can't go to France ... and has no final word in any of it.

Man U sends Alexis Sanchez to Inter on loan and Chris Smalling to Roma on loan. Victor Wanyama is headed to Brugge from Spurs for £12 million. PSG and Barcelona have agreed on a valuation for Neymar where Barca would pay cash and send 3 players to Paris; Rakitic, Dembele and Todibo. But Dembele doesn’t want leave. The window in Spain closes on Monday.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan leaves Arsenal for Roma on a full season loan. So both players involved in the Arsenal/Man U swap in January 2018 will be playing in Italy on loan, with Man U sending Alexis to Inter last week.

European window now closed.

I'm the only one who cares, but Celtic did some business yesterday buying in two promising young players on permanent deals ... left back Greg Taylor from Kilmarnock and defender Jeremie Frimpong from Man City. That, combined with a big 2-0 win on the road in the first Old Firm Derby of the season, will probably turn down the heat on the board ... at least for now. If nothing else, they found their long term replacement for Tierney in the form of Taylor. Frimpong is the kind of guy like Van Dijk that they usually buy in cheap while they're young and then sell back to a Prem club for a tidy profit.
