As for the low SOG. It seems the Habs have a game plan that relies on that fast transition, and they just keep trying even when they're getting cut off in the neutral zone time and again. They don't adjust, they just keep trying it and figure it will eventually work. They end up with a low shot total when it's not working, but a lot of times they still pot some goals.

Just like getting pinned in the D zone... it looks bad but they somehow keep most of the shots to the outside and don't give up as many high danger shots as you'd expect.

1) Anderson was slow reacting and moving across his crease because he's always slow reacting and moving across his crease. Every chance looks unstoppable when the goalie can't move side to side. It was a nice play by the Habs with a royal road pass, so it's dangerous, but Fred barely flinches.

2) Fred starts scrambling for no reason instead of holding his butterfly and shuffling, another common issue of his.

Neither goal is "on" him. But neither goal was unstoppable at all and sometimes your goalie just needs to stop pucks when they're stoppable.

We never expected to sweep Carolina. We played poorly and still went to OT.

I like our chances in this series.
