Around The League: Playoffs 2026

Gainey played with both a separated shoulder and a dislocated shoulder back in the 1984 playoffs.

If Makar returns to play with a serious injury, he won't be playing 24 mins a night.

Super regular season teams don’t win championships in hockey. They never face adversity until it’s too late.

Last one was ?

The most recent super regular season teams (Boston 2009 and 2023, Tampa 2019) failed. That’s just by memory.

the point I was trying to make is that the Canes took us lightly in game 1, especially after storming to a very early lead (and toying with the Sens and Flyers)

game 2 was closer than the shots indicated, but their adjustments worked. Now we have to counter,

Well now it’s time for the Habs to adapt and respond positively.

And FFS keep that Dach line off the ice in OT are at minimum break them up.
