So this past weekend was kinda rip and run: train over to Sac to pull prints at a great press shop; stay at favorite hostel that makes CA's capital city bearable; catch the boys in blue & white as able; cuss out a fuckin' Bruins fan....

Hostel is run by Hostelling International, beautiful old mansion donated by a wealthy family - cushy carpeting throughout, and a go-fuck-yourself kitchen, which is where the cussing took place.

So on Friday, I had the game on my phone while I was prepping dinner, and wouldn't you know it: some dude maybe 4 or 5 years my junior wanders in, tries to be friendly, yakking about how he's played hockey all his life, from Mass, loves the B's, especially Marchand, and would I care to have a piece of his daughter's birthday cake, on and fucking on. . .

FINALLY drew him up short and told him "Look, man - I'm in the middle of a few things here (waving chef's knife for emphasis, lol. . .), I fucking hate the god damned Bruins, especially goddam Brad fucking Marchand, so could you just gimme a small fucking break here??"

Dude took it pretty good, nodded, and walked out of my goddam kitchen. 30 minutes later, comes back with a piece of cake in a fucking bowl and leaves it on my counter and walks back out without a word. ...

Anyways, good times in Sac City. Just wish the Buds had won.

You're prob'ly familiar with "dragging main?" See if I can find a decent shot of Rocky Hill from where I come from. Visiting cross country teams fucking hated it.

Couldn't find real good examples (and too lazy to dig deeper), but here are some pics with comments:

When you drive east out of town on Rocky Hill Drive, you'll encounter a sharp left turn, then a sharp right turn before the summit; then on the back side of The Hill, you'll take a sharp right turn, then a sharp left and head to a T intersection with a (thank god. . .) stop sign. Here we go.
