Ducks really exposed Monty's weakness last night.. long shots.. that 1st one even though it was called back was brutal.. it set the tone
I was thinking during the shootout that they were gonna let one go from the blue line

He's had it for years. He's trash. You would think long shots would be the easiest thing to correct.
It has to be mental. There’s no way he’s always had that problem. He would have never been drafted
Should get Diekembe to chat with Chuck KnoblaughYou would think long shots would be the easiest thing to correct.

Habsy and I said he needed his eyes checked 2-3 yrs ago, he can make a brilliant save and then a let one in from the red lineHe's had it for years. He's trash.
He did both multiple times last night.Habsy and I said he needed his eyes checked 2-3 yrs ago, he can make a brilliant save and then a let one in from the red line
Now, I keep thinking what might have been "if only". I wasn't expecting them to be this good, or the goaltending to be this bad. With good goaltending, there's no telling how far we could have taken this. They're still fun to watch.
Next year is the year . . . Even with better goaltending this team is still a year away. HuGo know that too. Now, I keep thinking what might have been "if only". Bingo , plus expiring contracts the roster construction is still underwayNext year is the year . . . Even with better goaltending this team is still a year away. HuGo know that too.
Organically at least 2-3 years away:Next year is the year . . . Even with better goaltending this team is still a year away. HuGo know that too.
Organically at least 2-3 years away:
- Fowler needs to experience the trials & tribulations of NHL G
- Hage needs to become an NHL regular and learn the 200ft game
- Redenbacher needs to cement himself as an NHL top-4 w Slavin-esque capabilities
- Beck needs to seize & become that PK specialist/ modern shutdown C
- top-6 missing a big bodied W (likely acquired externally)
There’s a lot left to be done
Alex Tuchtop-6 missing a big bodied W (likely acquired externally)
I’d be all over it IF he hits the open market but he’s going to be asking $11M+Alex Tuch
I would give him $9.5m. You sure he’s getting that much?I’d be all over it IF he hits the open market but he’s going to be asking $11M+
He’s apparently not budging from that number w Buf. He wants to bank $$$$I would give him $9.5m. You sure he’s getting that much?
fuck emI’d be all over it IF he hits the open market but he’s going to be asking $11M+
This FA period is brutal with limited talent , some fool will pay himI would give him $9.5m. You sure he’s getting that much?
Bingo but after next year with expiring contracts , if Dach can stay healthy and be a 40-50 point player ....huge bonusOrganically at least 2-3 years away:

Ducks are 1 top 4 and a few depth forwards away from true contenderTwo late tying goals because they couldn't tie up two big bodies in front of the net, Kreider and Anders Lee.
