Habs News & Notes: Regular Season 2019-2020

How has he been in our 2 games ? I haven't paid attention much to him and Kulak. Maybe that's a good thing that we don't hear much about them
He's shown flashes of potential.... but been invisible for the most part. That's a good thing for a young dman.

He made a horrible pass that led to Toronto's first goal on Saturday, but otherwise he's looked quite solid, pretty physical and mobile too

McCarron was placed on waivers today so guess he's healthy enough to go to Laval.

I didn't mind this pick at the time and management saying that he was a work in progress. I did believe at one time that he was going to center our 4th line and be our enforcer, oh well...

An update on Noah Juulsen.

Went to see a concussion specialist, is apparently doing better and has re-started skating solo in Laval. They're hoping he's going to be able to come back & play in the not-so-distant future.

When is the last time he played?

I am going to just assume he is done. He missed too many games during a key age in development.

December last year.

And he isn't done yet. Connor Timmins missed all of last year due to a concussion and made the Avalanche roster this season.

To clarify. Not going to count on it.

I mean in my head I am going to assume he is done and if he comes back...bonus.

he could end up like Berard who missed a lot of time after Hossa made him a cyclops. He came back. That said, I agree with you and no longer count on Juulsen.

Yup. A useful, boring, but very steady. One of those guys that coaches love if they pan out.

Time will tell and here's hoping.

Looks like Suzuki is the odd man out today at practice.

Only took five games to get both of the rookies out of the lineup...

Even though IMO Suzuki should get min 10-games of evaluating...looks like he needs some AHL development time.

Suzuki has been invisible so far, despite so good ice time opportunities, he needs more seasoning.

I thought Fleury was ok though, and would like to see him replace Folin.

It's a long season... and I didn't expect these guys to play all 82.

in fairness, it looks like the game is a tad too fast for Suzuki. He needs to pick it up.
