Les Habitants Prospects Thread

Regardless of how well he does with his current opportunity, he will have to earn his spot on the roster next year and it won't be easy.

Sure, but if he does well, he'll have left a good lasting impression on the coaching staff & management. They might feel that - and I'm just saying in the event that he does indeed have a good remainder of the season here - he might not need to go back to Hamilton next year. They could start him off as 6th d-man to shelter him and gradually give him minutes.

On a more positive note tonight, Kristo got another assist, making it 3 assists in 5 pro games.

Collberg's finally signed his PTO.

He won't be playing tonight, but he'll be playing next Friday.

Honestly, the only team I really wouldn't wanna face in round 1 is Boston and maybe Ottawa, only because I get really worried about red-hot goaltending they'll get from Anderson.

The rest of the teams, though? I don't see any reason we shouldn't beat them, save a Price meltdown.

I'm not afraid . . . but based on recent history, there are "better" match-ups for us than T.O. Just win the friggin' division.

Am I the only one not afraid of playing the Leafs?

Count me in as unafraid.

No, I'm not either.

No. I'm not either.

I'm not afraid

Leafs don't scare many teams, so they've had some good games against us big deal.

The Isles have a very good record vs us, do we not want to face them?

Teams that worry me are the ones that have impact players that can change a series on their own.

Like Pittsburgh with Crosby/Malkin or the Rangers with Lundqvist or Boston with Chara

I'd want to steer clear of those teams but the rest of the pack bring it on.
