The difference was Siakam in the 4th. Those missed FTs hurt and he was a little too soft at the basket a few times. 6-10 points left on the table.

Kawhi was like an assassin on that play against Anunoby, just walked away, with almost a sinister look. Like, don't be trying to make the fans in Toronto forget me that fast. Seemed almost personal.

Kawhi, can be made to make mistakes, but you have to gang him and gang him with all star defensive ability It might be pretty sick when he has PG13 as an option, to pass to.

The Clippers to me, are a pretty good team now, really strong defensively. Glad they are in the west end.

So both are shite?

I mean, it's entirely possible that DeRozan is done. He's 30 and lacks the skillset that the modern NBA game is built on.

But as recently as last year, he was a good starting SG overall. Miscast as a star, but functional.

basically had one year where he was a legit starter, his final year with us, the only year he made some 3s.

Ehhh...being an average plus player (which he was his entire prime) overall, makes you a good starting SG by default. It's been a bit of a wasteland of a position for a bunch of years now.

I've gone through all of those years, and he was statistically the 8-12th best SG in most of them. That's a good starter, by definition.
