We are 25-27 and in a playoff spot, just keep grinding, get healthy, and scour the market for a RHH, leverage RP, and high end SP ( i dont think you need a 4/5 but if a Skubal or Alcantara is out there you make a call, or anyone good with term, really)

I do not think he expected to be pitching into late October in high leverage games coming off of tommy john.
He figured he would make his 7 starts to finish the 25 season and have a full off season to continue to recover.
That was not the case and it set him back.
