OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Red Sox trying to turn a DP this afternoon...doesn't end well for Chris Parmlee:

ie - wait til his little arm blows up.

That has more to do with mechanics than anything else. Flash Gordon had similar stuff, was the same height...but much slimmer than the stocky Stroman, and was a good mid rotation starter for 6-7 years before the wear and tear forced him into the bullpen.

I hope you're right, but it makes me nervous when a guy that small throws a ton of pitches. honestly I think (and this is way off point) that clubs should have pitchers throw 3-4 innings at a time and throw every 3 days instead of 5. it's radical, but it could be easier on arms, plus hitters don't get a chance to adjust a second or third time around.

That's literally the worst callup they could have made....and they sent down the guy who should have stayed.

negrych for lincoln would have made much more sense.

Watching the pregame show and they said it's possible he may not get a start for a few days. Sounds like he's just up to be a defensive replacement and pinch run for Melky.

Jays have won 5 of 7. Playing some better baseball as of late. They have an opportunity to make up some ground on T.Bay and Balt right now. Both those teams have key injuries to their pitchers.

If they can win 4 or 5 of their next 6 that would be helpful.

the art of hitting is lost on this team. how is that adam lind of all people has the best approach on the team?

hitting > mashing
