Vegas

I'm off to Vegas.. if any of you degenerates are also in town for the next week, let me know and we can meet up for a drink.

I have to use my Aeroplan miles at some point. Maybe this winter..I'm considering Miami, LA, Chicago or Atlanta.
Then next summer I'd like to go back home for a couple months.

The lovely lady and myself will be in Vegas from the 28th to 6th for a conference, were staying at the MGM Grand; any suggestions?

My brother is barry Gibb in the "Australian Bee Gees" show at Excalibur I think. I know it sounds weird byt he is really good and the show is really good. Confirm that he is playing ( I know he does it five days a week) but he is replacing the existing Barry Gibb.

MGM grand is probably my favourite Vegas hotel. Too bad KA won't be playing, because its awesome. Best pool in Vegas too. We've had some very nice Italian meals in fiamma there in the "studio walk". Checking out MGV, machine guns of Vegas, might be good for a howl too.

If you see one show make it Absinthe.

Way more entertaining than a Cirque event and about half the cost. Best time we had while there. Go for a nice dinner and take in the late show.

You should check out renting a car at the Las Vegas Speedway. Apparently you can rent things like Ferraris or Aston Martins and get to drive them around the track for a few hundred bucks.

Could be one of those bucket list options if you're willing to shell out the money for the experience.

Oh and this is obviously a ridiculously touristy thing to do, but make sure that you check out the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from the TV show Pawn Stars.

It's located in the Old Las Vegas part of town in the north end of the strip, but it's definitely worth the drive. Saw some amazingly cool items and memorabilia there when I went with my buddy back in 2010.

You guys are forgetting that although Jays went to Vegas with one of his friends...that buddy was actually his "life partner".

Post the pics of you two on the gondola at the Venetian.

He said he was going with his better half that makes it a different kind of trip. Truth be told, I think I actually prefer going with the spousal unit.
