Yeah, punching out Michalek while he's on his knees is true grit, man. It's more like some people can see no wrong with him when it's glaring at them.

He gave him more than one extra shot. And if he were smarter, he would have simply skated away. The play had already moved up ice. Fighting Michalek was completely unnecessary.

That sure wasn't it. Michalek wasn't playing dirty. The play was already heading up ice. The first extra shot was plenty enough, with the ref staring at him.
But no. Let's "play physical" and "show some emotion" when the team is already down two at that point.
He gets $7M a season. He should play with more brains and skill for that.

I'd trade Phaneuf, JVR and Clarkson for almost anyone. I want more Lupul types (except aren't made of glass). If he was in there we'd have another guy who can actually keep the puck on the boards and score..Right now i'm only liking Kadri's game but the poor kid gets no help. Playing with those 2 pussies must be frustrating.
