GDT: Game 53 - Oilers @ Habs | 2:00pm EST - The Apathy Game

A win tomorrow and we could actually move withing 2 points of a playoff spot. How is that even possible lol. I may have to leave tank nation if that happens. Hopefully Price will return soon
 
That was a fun game to watch.

The Chucky-Plekanec-Gallagher & Fleischmann-Eller-Andrighetto lines were really good and the fourth line did their job but the Pacioretty-Desharnais-Weise line was sooo bad.

Subban was a beast, Markov was better and Scrivens was good.

Win tomorrow (selfish) then they can go back to tanking.

Most of teams ahead of us have 2 or 3 games in hand beside having 4-5 extra points. That make it really hard.

Read the tea leaves in this one really badly. The Oilers going one way, Habs going the other which led me to believe this game would be a blowout. Just had the wrong team being blown out. Big game by Plekanec, he'll now disappear for a month. We will see tomorrow with Carolina if the offence has anything left or today was just a mirage.

Season is probably over but damn I enjoyed the way we played today. Was like the beginning of the season.
 
I never thought i would say that but having Gilbert in 3rd pairing stabilize our D. We lost couple of games because of some rookie mistakes of Like Beaulieu, Pateryn, Barberio.
