Re: Habs News & Notes: 2018 Training Camp

The team is starting to take shape.

Haven't seen any D pairings from practice, but here are the forward lines:

Jonathan Drouin - Max Domi - Joel Armia
Tomas Tatar - Phillip Danault - Brendan Gallagher
Paul Byron - Jesperi Kotkaniemi - Artturi Lehkonen
Charles Hudon - Tomas Plekanec - Nikita Scherbak
Kenny Agostino - Jacob de la Rose - Michael Chaput
(Matthew Peca - therapy day)

Re: Habs News & Notes: 2018 Training Camp

still find it hard to believe they went with the pains of Drouin at centre for a year just to pull the plug

For all his massive faults, MB understands politics.

The Subban and Sergachev deals are not in peoples minds like they once were. Enough time (even one year) has gone by, so he can start to do things that some fans would have thought he would have had to much of an ego to do in the past.

We are at the point where Droiun can be moved back to the wing and even talk of trading Weber can be legit without MB looking as stupid if he had done it earlier.

Re: Habs News & Notes: 2018 Training Camp

Ok, here were the D pairings:

Victor Mete - Noah Juulsen
Mike Reilly - Jeff Petry
Jordie Benn - David Schlemko
Karl Alzner - Simon Despres
Xavier Ouellet

Mike Reilly was getting lots of love from Tsn

Re: Habs News & Notes: 2018 Training Camp

man we have a lot of bad players

to think some on social media were ecstatic we got 3 "assets" for Plekanec. The 2nd was good, but the others were nothing. A bank account is an asset but if there is .10c in it, the asset is worthless like Valiev and Rychel.

We will do it again at the deadline for 4 assets

Re: Habs News & Notes: 2018 Training Camp

Sending Suzuki down to the OHL was such a bad idea. How is he ever going to develop his game without playing against older players...
