Missed all of it, too. I had a few scant hours to spend on football this weekend and I spent them enjoying Villa beating QPR in the Championship.

Arsenal had just a brutal week:

Monday - Draw Bayern in the UCL
Tuesday - Lose to Everton
Wednesday - See all the teams around them in the table win
Saturday - See all the teams around them in the table win
Sunday - Lose to Man City

Leicester came from 2-0 down and with 10 men for the last 62 minutes with Vardy seeing straight red in the 28th minute.

Happy Boxing Day! The crazy schedule compression with the FA Cup 3rd Round Proper will have every team playing 4 matches over the next 2 weeks.

Personal opinion but I have long thought it absolutely stupid that the Prem runs teams through an absolute sausage grinder at this time of year. It's like they celebrate European group stages getting finished by punishing everybody. The standard of play inevitably sinks, managers end up losing their job due to a bad week or two ... even fans get burned out on the prospect of all those expensive tickets over a two week stretch. It's just dumb.

And then straight into the 3rd Round Proper of the FA Cup next weekend.

The Bundesliga hasn't played since 12/21. They don't come back to league play until 1/20 weekend. Bayern Munich has 2 friendlies on 1/10 and 1/14.
Ligue 1 hasn't played since 12/21. They come back to the Coupe de France next weekend.
Serie A hasn't played since 12/21. They come back with league matches next weekend.
La Liga hasn't played since 12/18 but they did have Copa del Rey matches 12/21-23. They come back in the middle of next week with the Copa del Rey and with league play next weekend. Barcelona, for example has Atletico in the Copa on 1/5 and 1/11 and league matches on 1/8 and 1/14, so that's 4 matches in 9 days.

Snodgrass had two beautiful free kicks for Hull. One just caught the inside joint between the bar and the right post and kicked across and out the goal mouth, the other curled just in on the other side. Too bad Hull couldn't hang on, they need those points badly.

Burnely 4-1 Sunderland
Chelsea 4-2 Stoke
Leicester 1-0 West Ham
Man U 2-1 M'Boro
Southampton 1-2 WBA
Swansea 0-3 Bournmouth
