dougie Hamilton is a 4/5 dman on one of the worst teams in hockey, and makes 6m longterm.

that's a salary dump. not a trade.

And production? I don't really fault a guy for playing behind Gio & Brodie and even Russell because coaches always fall for that shot blocking gritty voodoo.
