wouldn't be surprised to see Pearson back up soon enough over Francis tho.
 
I don't know, I don't really like it. Pearson has earned the stay up, Cabrera has an option left.... I guess they want 2 LHR in the pen.

Francis is up because Rodriguez hasn't been stretched out for 100 pitches yet and they want to piggyback those 2.

I guess once Rodriguez is stretched out, Pearson comes back up, but then they don't have a long man 🤷‍♂️
 
I assume guys will be up and down every 10-15 days for the near future. I don't really like keeping up guys just to run the tandem spot, since that sort of wastes 2 arms until you're comfortable using Francis another day or two each week as well.

How does MLB work with sending players down like Pearson

Is this team control based on a number of games ?

In hockey at some point your no longer waiver exempt

Players get 3 seasons after they are called up they can be sent down in. But sometimes you can avoid that depending on injuries and stuff to get a little extra time in.
