Just ****ing win baby. James Reimer gets the start, big opportunity for him.

This could be a really good game for the fans; Winnipeg has been hot, Leafs were, now they're a little bruised and pissed off. Reimer gets the start in front of his family, should be lots of Leaf fans.
By all accounts, this team has reasons to respond. They just better do it.

This is a real nice chance for Reimer to earn a bit of a run.....relatively easy opponent, Bernier having bee pulled in his last start......big performance here and I think he earns some extra starts between now and the break.

I wouldn't be under estimating the Jets, the Stars are only 3 points higher and they torched us 7-1 the other night. This is a statement game though, the Leafs need to come out swinging and prove that they can put that ugly 7-1 loss behind them, going to be tough though given how well the Jets have played under Maurice and that this game is in Winnipeg.

I hope the Leafs win though.

they better show up, because the jets are no joke, and they really hate us which means they'll be SUPER EXTRA MOTIVATED.

There's no excuse for not winning this game......it's one of the easiest on our schedule this month. Blowing this opportunity would be a huge let down.

What makes you think its the easiest of our schedule this month ? Don't let where they are in the standings fool you, this team has been 4-1 since Maurice took over (their only loss was 1 -0 loss to San Jose). I agree though this is game is an oppurtunity to show what the Leafs are truly made of, are they a team that really cares about winning and come out strong tonight or do they show they really don't care and lose badly? Tonight will tell where the Leafs are really at.

Jets are on a 4-1 run, with wins over anaheim and phoenix, and they only loss a 1-0 loss to SJ.

they have MOMENTUM and MOTIVATION.

They've had one impressive win since Maurice took over.....beating Anaheim, 3-2.

One game does not a team make.....Winnipeg is a bottom of the barrel squad.

You clearly don't get it, they have been playing alot better under Maurice since he took over, and just because a team is at the bottom of the standings or near it doesn't mean they shouldn't be taken seriously, any team can beat any team on any given night. Look at Dallas, they aren't fairing well in the standings either yet they shelled us 7-1 the other night, the Jets shouldn't be under-estimated either.

Pavelec does seem like he's been on a bit of a run though, which could be troublesome. Bottom line, we need to get 2 points here. Hopefully Phil and Naz keep it going, they've both been looking great recently.

And yeah, big opportunity for Reimer, hope he's up to the task.

I think the Jets have the players to be a team that would be fighting for a playoff spot in the East and if they had good goaltending they could be a playoff team.

Yeah, they don't have a ton of top end talent, but three solid scoring lines and a pretty strong group of personnel overall. Their goalies just stink. Still don't know why they picked Pavelec over Lehtonen...
