OT: Movies/TV Shows

Wow, her chapters are some of my favourites. Keep Brienne please.

Nah, I really enjoy them all...such a wide range of storylines that it really works as a binding agent for the whole.

I find them boring... especially in book 4 and 5.

Though to me she is played differently in the show...much more confident / in control.

Books 4 and 5 are fairly slow, I'll give you that. Haven't even been able to finish 5 yet. Sits on my shelf but I have no itch to slog through it.

Curious what they do with book 4 and 5.... I mean...the most interesting part of book 5 is happening right now (Theon).

I finally just finished book 5...took me a long time.

That's funny. I tore trough all of the books in six weeks total. Couldn't put them down. Was a tad disappointed in the splitting up of the characters between two books but it got its teeth into me and I'm dying for the next one.

I've read the books and amstill stunned by the awesomeness.

Last night was epic.

and i really love how they've done margaery. she's great. i'm pretty much in constant awe of the casting choices. the actors are all perfect for their role.

Olenna is fantastic too

and Varys is 100% awesome

varys was awesome last night

wish i could unread the books just for the show.... but it is still awesome even though i know what is going to happen (for the most part...still waiting for sam the slayer)

There's a new tv show that became available on Netflix that Eli Roth created called "Hemlock Grove". It's getting decent reviews. I like the idea of Netflix making series. The entire season is available immediately.

Im about 25 mins into episode 1....and I find this hard to follow, dull, and weird.

Watched episode 3 last night and enjoyed it.....it's about as quality as a show can get while still being network television.

Hey guys, if you are in Toronto and have some free time from the 25th of April til May 5th, the Hot Docs film festival will be going on. It in its 20th year, I've never been but I'm volunteering for the festival, figured documentary enthusiasts might be interested.

There are going to be screenings all over the city.

TBLB, Victoria College, Isabel Badur Theatre, Scotiabank Place, and Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.

Have you watched the Following? If so, how does it stack up to Hannibal? The Following is one of the very few network shows that are pretty decent these days.
