It's not like the Rangers had 50+ shots, they capitalized on their breakaways and scoring chances. I really am waiting for our #2 dman Markov to step it up. Aside from 1 standout game, he's been pretty crappy these playoffs, and garbage today. We definitely are not going to get creamed the rest of the series, it didn't look like anyone thought this was a playoff game today the way they played. They got all psyched up for playing the bruins it's like they were drained to play today.

Need to adjust and play more of a trap game. The Habs need the lead to play their game.
In the second we controlled the play. If they were able to end the second with the 2-1 score the Habs could have tied the game easily. They made mistakes.

Emelin and Markov Pairing speed was scary . the good thing about this series is we won't see Murray in line up and therefore we save 10 pages of argument about him being in line up

Don't remind me McDonagh man . i am still pissed at this trade. i remember first i saw this trade's new i said damn is bad . Gomez for Higgins and with Gomez contract , etc . but when i saw Mcdonagh name i was out of myself .some friends told me this guy didn't play a game in NHL yet and you are already pissed ?more i see this guy more i am pissed at Goat !

Emelin was supposed to always be a smooth skater, but his transitioning today was slow. Markov has been slow all year but today he was bad. Murray will never dress this series, even if we are down 3-0. But we're expecting Markov to at least play like a #2 5m dollar player, which he isn't. Forget signing him to a 3 year deal at this point, I'd want to find someone younger who can still skate if there are any free agents or someone to be had in a trade.
