Oh, so you honestly believe that it's stupid to prefer losing in the 2nd round to the 1st round?

Cause you know... In that scenario, even if you lose to Columbus in the 2nd round... You will have beaten the better team in the Bruins.

I guess my feeble mind can't comprehend how it's better to lose to a "good" team, just to avoid losing to a "worse" team. Instead of beating the good team.

There's no better. Neither is better unless you believe in experience (which is a fair belief).

It would be more frustrating for me to lose to Columbus because they're ****ing awful. It would hurt a lot more. And it would probably hurt even more to lose to the isles.

Well they've already pretty much tied the series. Game 7 will come down to luck. Win or lose it doesn't change my opinion on the leafs or Bruins. They're both top three teams in the NHL. I would 100% prefer that they win tomorrow. But if you told me they're 100% guaranteed to lose the next round? Check please. I'm out.
 
Jonas I'm PMing you if the leafs win tomorrow. We're going to Columbus and you're going to be a leafs fan again.

Yeah, me picking a team means I think it's 100% guaranteed.

For a guy that seems to consider himself smart you sure like to intentionally misrepresent someone's point. At least I assume it's intentional.

If you're content just "knowing" your team is better than other teams and don't really need the results, then you're certainly a better fan than I am. I really just want to win. So it sucks being a Hab fan right now.

Columbus, NYI, Carolina, Boston or us
St Louis, Vegas, Dallas, Colorado

Moving on.

We’ve gotta win... on paper, this is probably as good of a path to the cup as you’re gonna get.

Seriously. At that point it's win or bust. Getting an optimal path to the finals is half the battle in hockey.
