OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

My concern is what the heck do you do if you need the facilities? It looked like there were 2 porta potties there. I can't fathom how that would have gone. Tiny Mom bladder here says NOPE.

Even if the parade went perfectly according to schedule, I can't fathom how anyone would head out into the thick of that without some water & snacks with them.

Yeah. People are dumb. I did a checklist before I left the house because I knew where I was going. It's 2019 for **** sakes.

That's why I avoided Nathan Phillips square. I parked myself near 3 offices with bathrooms

I had some water but I left my house at 6 and left the square at about 3ish so... didn’t bring enough. The people at the front of the stage in Nathan Phillips would’ve been there for 12+ hours and once you were in there, there wasn’t much you could do. I do feel badly for them.

I don't know if an adult diaper is meant to hold more than one "accident", ahem. lol.

I would totally be down to go the the earlier staged of the parade for sure though. So amazing.

This guy is something else..."seriously injured"

An Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy may file a suit after claiming he was seriously injured last week during a scuffle with Toronto Raptors President Masai Ujiri at the end of Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

He went to the hospital immediately after, and is claiming he suffered a concussion and "brain swelling".

America is so ridiculously litigious.

Common sense would dictate this gets thrown out, especially since that Sheriff's department is tap-dancing away from any requests that they release any video (including from the body cam the officer was wearing) that corroborates their claims, and refutes the other multiple witnesses that refute their story. But common sense doesn't apply south of the border.

Yeah, Uncle Dennis and Masai have become "close friends" by all accounts.

The organization has really, really done everything it could in this situation. Load management, went for it at the deadline, first class treatment of the family, etc, etc.
