I'm done for the day -- have to deal with this annoying fan coil heating system....

will just nurse already open positions which are
long PAYX, STZ, VNET, ISEE, TRIT
short SFIX

but honestly, I have a quick trigger on these...and all of these positions are tiny....like 1/3 normal size

You can really see the lack of resistance once you get to blue skies eh. Compare TRUL to CL, for example. Barely any volume on TRUL and it pushes higher and higher, whereas Cresco constantly has ridiculous resistance every single penny it upticks. Love a name with 0 bagholders.


TLDR: If a name is in blue skies, HOLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
 
I keep looking at Ebay and wondering why it hasn't participated in this bull bonanza.

Amazon is obviously a monster, and Etsy has even been crushing. Why is Ebay languishing?
 
As I said a month or two ago Terrascend needs cash. Well they got it. Non dilutive debt financing. Shitty rate obviously but that ilera acquisition is basically paid for now. Overhang gone!

Interesting to see the bigger players outside of trulieve opt for debt financing instead of bought deals even at these levels.

wasn't able to catch runners this morning. might look for some dip buys but going to be uber cautious. good chance i'll wait it out and end up doing nothing.

I'm mostly annoyed with Cresco. The weakness is unreal. I know it'll be made up within five minutes as we've seen in the past but it's annoying to watch.

Hey I said the day I bought it that it was a tiny position and that if it dumped I'd buy more to make it closer to a full position! I'll find the post!

Here it is folks! Terrible play but they don't all work! And I already abandoned the average down play.

Honesty is the best policy for the gurus! But I don't claim to be one either!
 
My worst decision ever was going heavy on the stagnant Cresco. I like being in on them now since I feel their upside is the best of the bunch. But I was a week or two too early.

It will be CL's day eventually! Been holding my breath with this extra chunk since 12.71.
 
I finally fired off a starter in AYR at 27.53. Would love to see a dip to add more but it had a great close. Better late than never I guess. I had an active day. Bought a bunch more Cresco in the 12.80s, only to sell it all at 12.98. Figured it wouldn't get through 13, it struggled all day. To make up for it I sold all of my trulieve at 42.10. And then once I sold my Cresco I hunted for a new entry on lieve. Got in at 41.60.

Since I'm stuck with the dog known as Cresco I might as well do shit like that to kinda make up for it. It's effectively pennies in the end though. I'd do far better if Cresco moved for fucking once. Wah wah wah.
 
I was gonna say, what's the point of risking your entire position in TRUL to...rebuy at 50 cents less later the same day.

Although you're doing it without tax consequence, you theoretically risk it running away from you on a rally. I know the movement on these stocks is more gradual than sudden, but still. Every time I think about doing the same thing with one of my holdings, within a day or two it has a totally unexpected spike upwards, and then I tell myself, this is why the strategy is to not play with the position once it's established.
