This was the point that I made to my heavily catholic mother in law who has unfortunately found out about youtube and it's many layers of conspiracy videos.

If the elite were really trying to thin out the herd (her argument)....why are all the rich people getting vaccinated first and making poor people in latin america and africa wait their turn and get sick with covid?

But as I often remind people, you can't use reason and logic to move someone off of a position that they didn't use logic and reason to arrive at. She is an unvaccinated 65 yr old woman with circulatory issues in guadalajara mexico who has been offered the vaccine (we made a few calls and were able to get her offered confirmed US made Pfizer...there has been an issue with knock off vaccines in mexico but nothing from the official supply...) and has flatly turned it down.

As I start to venture out IRL (leaving my cozy analytics bubble otherwise known as ForumIce) I’m hearing a lot of crazy shit. And I’m not really interested in arguing with friends of friends or acquaintances.... I do a slight cross examination and then try to enjoy the rest of my lobster roll and Campari spritzer

I know full well that from their side, I’m just another sucker lining the profit margins of big pharma.

the good news is that bar associations, regardless of politics, are willing to put the hammer down on whackos. it's already come home to roost for rudy. lin and syd are on the brink. i'd be worried if i were jenna ellis.
