Crosby and Aaron Rodgers Test Positive for Covid

It's a shame he sent this to the NFL and not the CDC where he could teach scientists and infectious disease experts about vaccines.

Being educated doesn't have to mean you're smart.
Very good point. The Greenwald cult specialize in thinking they're way smarter than they really are. It's more of a narcissism thing than stupidity tho imo. The whole "everyone is wrong about everything except me" mentality. And it even extends to science.

Its ironic that the "critical thinkers" are so certain about their position. They are the same as the bad twitter hockey nerds.

Can't trust people that "know" they are right.

It’s also weird how highly educated/ qualified people in one field seem to think their authority extends to other areas. It’s crazy. Maybe they are just raging know it all’s in their own field. But in this day and age, with the amount of dedication and experience it takes to become an expert in one thing… two is impossible.

It's a very powerful thing to simply say "I don't know" and defer to experts. I thought everyone had that skill but this pandemic has taught me they really don't. Moving forward it will be one of the skills I look for in people when deciding to converse with them or have them in my life.

Eastern Europeans are fucking hardcore with their antivax propaganda
They're hardcore about everything and they have no filter. It's almost like they're nostalgic for the autocratic systems of government from which their parents fled all those years ago.

My brother's inlaws in Toronto are from Denmark and they're staunch supporters of Ford.

These anti vax people are a special kind of stupid. The "did my own research" excuse is my favorite
For doing one's own research to be of any use, the person doing said research would have to be educated enough to interpret what they were researching and have the critical thinking skills necessary to parse the fly shit from the pepper. Even then, a more self-aware person would realize that their self-research, while perhaps giving them some additional information with which to make decisions, was still not the same as bona fide scientific research by actual scientists which takes years to compile, analyze and interpret.

Most self-research only lasts as long as it takes for someone to watch an anti-vax YouTube video while they pinch off their morning loaf.
