For the most part. The play was ugly though. Especially last half of game.Don't think it was ugly really. We dominated, no?

Ya not sure how someone can look at that game like it wasnt titled tremendously to one side. Didnt they hit two posts on the 5 on 3 alone?
HDCF:
12 to 3 5v5
16 to 6 all strengths
Caufield and Anderson had breakaways, Anderson had the point blank on in front of the net. At least three that could've easily gone in.
I'm just saying, it could've definitely been worse for them, but it also could've been worse for us too (just like that last ridiculous loss against them when we outshot them 51-18 or whatever).Sure, but that's just about every real chance the Habs had tonight. Goalies stop breakaways and other high danger chances all the time. Money puck has started tracking "xHigh Danger" chances and they tend to have a SV% of .700 or so. 7 out of 10 of the absolute best chances a scorer can get, are stopped by goalies. That's just part of the job description. The Leafs gave up 6 HD chances all night, even if all 6 were these extra high danger chances, stopping 4 of the 6 is actually a slightly below average night at the office for a NHL goalie.

You‘re confused by the solid goaltendingwe did but the habs had a bunch of grade A chances
