Descendant Pizza is top tier.

That crust is the perfect level of crunch along with airiness. It’s thick but light at the same time.

I have an Ooni as well. I don’t use it nearly as much as I thought I would when I got it. I don’t make pizza nearly enough. Find myself going out for a good pizza when I’m in the mood for it.

Its a fairly niche pizza style. NY style and neapolitan reign supreme here.

I like my ooni but its not exactly versatile. I've dialed in my process to turn out a perfectly solid neapolitan but thats really all its good for.

So yeah, when you catch a pizza craving but don't feel like neapolitan, you've got no choice but to go out.

With that said, barrie is a waste land for pizza quality....

Exactly. If I was living in my forever home I’d build a brick oven in the back. Way more capable/versatile. Until then I’ll be making the Neapolitan once every blue moon and going out for the rest.

Also doesn’t help that I have a decent mom and pop pizza shop down the street from me. They make imo a really good Sicilian.

Both are good. Hot wheel at Maker is .

In that Trinity Bellwood’s area they have North of Brooklyn. Top tier elite pizza. The Killer Bee is probably my fav pizza in the city.

I mean north of brooklyn is the tits but i don't go around tasting all the different pizzas so that's not worth much.

i was actually impressed the one time I went to Eataly that they have 3 or 4 completely different pizza spots with completely different styles. I think I had the detroit style one and it was actually realgud. Though not my favorite style.

Unless it’s their creamy garlic dipping sauce.

It’s no doubt made of garbage, but goddamn is it ever tasty garbage.

Their pizza with its cardboard crust and gross cheese & toppings is beyond salvageable though.

That said, let he who hasn’t gotten blind drunk and then ordered Pizza Pizza late at night when it was literally the only thing available cast the first stone.

I'm one of the few who dislikes Maker -- too doughy. It sure looks pretty, though. Perfect for Insta marketing.

Blondies is good but still not elite

Would only really be useful for flat breads like naan or pita I'd think. No, haven't used it for that.
