MSL seems to not like messing w his functioning lines which would be all but the 2nd line

This is Roy’s big chance to cement a role on this Habs team … as one of my former bosses told me “don’t f*ck it up”

It's very hard to trade for a "star center." You either have to draft them or get lucky in a trade (Suzuki).

Yet other teams manage.

Even this would help more than Dach. Not a star but very solid. Dropped the ball here.

Bottom line, its harder to make it as a centre than a winger, because I can't say Roy has been better than Beck comparing their stint with the big club and in Laval.

You don't know that. Laine has a heck of a shot too. Point is, they could have gotten a credible second line center and Dubois is that.

They (Washington) sure look good though, in the partial games or whatever I've watched them in. The Caps and Winnipeg are nice stories. Caught everyone pretty much off guard. Wouldn't mind seeing one or the other go the distance.

Two at most, apparently. Beck and Roy are deemed emergency call ups, and don’t count. But if Laine plays while Roy is still up, then yeah, that’s the second call up.

Beck was for Dach, so that won’t count.
