I NEVER engage in ad hominem attacks on other posters (even the fascist ones like FlyGuy)

And as I have said, Im not here to be negative about the Leafs. Im just sick and tired of having to pity them. I'd prefer they could be good enough to hate again. But that won't happen if they cling to sacred cows like Marner and Tavares.

Well you just answered your own question. Unfortunately, no one inside MLSE at the time asked it before blowing $11 million worth of cap space on Tavares. The problems were there before Tavares showed up. It was naive for anyone to think he'd solve those problems just by being there. Tavares can't make Marner give a shit. If Marner can't summon that from within himself then it's over before it starts.

Issue is that you have made this case for now multiple years. Forum knows you, and I, think the core is an issue for the Leafs. We know how you feel. So please contribute but posting the same thing over over again doesn't really help.

As said though. I'd suggest people use the ignore button if needed.

it's not negativity it's ceaseless disengenuos trolling from a non-fan who's only trying to piss everyone here off.

i'm fine with ignoring him but most boards wouldn't put up with this kinda schtick for very long tbh.

Please. Being anti-Netanyahu and anti Gazan genocide is not being anti-Semitic. I hold both sides in that conflict equally culpable. There is no "good guy-bad guy" dynamic at work there. Both sides take turns being victims and aggressors. Too much has happened for either side to claim any moral high ground.

Unless the whole board puts him on ignore he still derails every discussion. Just ban him for a month again and he can come back when we’re bored.

Ok so we have made a deal here. Mods don't over mod. That's why we moved a bunch of times right? If I'm to mod to this extend, i.e ban someone who is thought of as disengenous or annoying, then I gotta start banning a lot of content too.

Easy solution is just to put him on ignore list. You won't see his posts right?

Except Willy produces fine and Matthews is a step down for what you'd want from Auston Matthews in those situations, but overall still scores at something like a 35 goal pace and late series games.

If the other two produced like those two in those situations, we probably would be having this conversation.

All I’m saying is that he gets no protection from me. And I do agree with zeke. Everyone has heard it a thousand times and the disingenuous stuff is just annoying.

We see the same on the Habs board. He’s in love with Count though and old love should be cherished.
 
I remember folks saying "Don't feed the trolls." The feeding didn't stop. Meanwhile, the trolls didn't need to stimulate themselves because folks' attention to the trolls did that for the trolls, creating the mess nobody's willing to clean up by ignoring the trolls. 😉
