I'm not gonna watch this video obviously but it's been funny watching trump completely bail on every idea that he ran on that his base loved 8 months ago. Flyguy said it himself... He was refreshingly honest in his post!
But guess what? A certain, very high percentage of his base has undying loyalty to him and don't really care about any actual issues. They just like who he is.

He did not completely bail on every idea. He has relented in execution prematurely, or so it appears.
Deportations still happening.
Tariffs still implemented. Trade deficit still improved. Culture wars are being won. Systemic discrimination against white people being erased. Healthcare recommendations/research getting overhauled. He just needs to commit to the bit and quit caring about being liked by everyone.

The history of debt increases isn't close to arguable. GOP presidents always incur far more debt than Dem presidents, and it's not even close.
Trump had the biggest 4yr increase in the debt his first time around, but will easily surpass that record this time.
But hey, as long as you guys get to kick some tax-paying farmers and laborers out of the country, it's worth it.
